What Alabama has to do to win: Run the ball until Utah can’t stand it anymore, and then run some more. The Crimson Tide has a big advantage up front with its line and with its backs Glen Coffee and Mark Ingram. The Crimson Tide does not turn the ball over and it just needs to grind. The other key will be to find a wide receiver to trust besides Julio Jones. If I am Utah, and a third-down play comes up, there are two defenders on Jones, the splendid Alabama freshman receiver. Do not let him make plays.
The Crimson Tide has a thick defensive playbook with blitz after blitz and Utah is going to see things it has not seen all year.
Opening point spread: Alabama by 10.5 (46.5)
Prediction: Alabama 37, Utah 7
MVP: Alabama RB Glen Coffee
No. 4 Alabama (12-1) vs. No. 7 Utah (12-0)
