BJ Scott to Defense!

Tide fans on message boards all across the interwebs have been speculating whether or not BJ Scott would be moved to the defensive side of the ball. Wonder no more. The deal is done according to BamaOnline. Scott was recruited as a 5-star athlete in last year’s class. He played QB and DB in high school and started out his Alabama career as a slot receiver. He saw very little action last season due to both a knee injury and having trouble making the switch to receiver. Scott has the ability to play anywhere in the secondary, but I think he gets first crack at free safety, where Rashad Johnson’s departure leaves a sizable hole to fill.
