Injury Update: TE Colin Peek

Alabama tight end Colin Peek plans to play his senior season with a fracture in his left foot that stubbornly refuses to heal.

A 6-foot-6 transfer from Georgia Tech, Peek is expected to be one of the top pass-catching targets in the Crimson Tide's offense this season. After sitting out the 2008 regular season because of NCAA transfer guidelines, Peek was cleared to play in the Sugar Bowl but ultimately did not because of the foot injury.

Peek wore a protective boot on his left foot after practice Friday.
