New Year Recruiting Blitz

• Michigan has an impressive list of recruits/verbal commits at the HS All Star games this weekend. Current commits included in the Army All American Bowl include: Jeremy Gallon East WR #88, Brendan Gibbons East #19, Anthony LaLota East DE #90, Justin Turner East DB #21. Other Michigan recruits of interest in the game include: William Campbell East DT #73, Marcus Hall East OT #79, Dre Kirkpatrick East DB #13, Je’Ron Stokes East WR #80, Barkevious Mingo West LB #91. Here are the Michigan commits in the Under Armour Game: Isaiah Bell S, Taylor Lewan OL, Craig Roh DE. Other Michigan recruits: Sam Montgomery DE
• Game Times: Army All American Bowl: 12:00 pm Saturday NBC: Under Armour 8:00 pm Sunday ESPN. In case you didn't know; "Big" Will Campbell is expected to announce his college of choice during the Army Bowl.
• A little birdie told me that Anthony LaLota and Mike Jones are both enrolled at Michigan. LaLota is planning to fly to Ann Arbor right after the Army All American Bowl.
• The rumor mill is saying that Rex Ryan the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens will be named the next DC at Michigan. I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. Of course he is also rumored to be on the candidate list for the Lions head coaching job. I wonder which one is a better job?
• OH 3 star CB Dale Peterman is rumored to be selecting Michigan as his college of choice next year. Some have wondered if Dale has even been offered. More to come on this one.
• Rivals is reporting the Sam McGuffie is leaning toward enrolling at Rice. I wish nothing but the best for Sam and hope he is getting solid medical advice regarding his 3 concussions.
