Athletic Director Mal Moore has given Saban the authority and free reign to do whatever he wishes with the program, and that's where he stands out among others.
I for one am happy that Saban is able to run his program, his way, without interference. I believe the price paid for his coaching abilities will bring more than an ample return to the university.
More news stirring in T-Town comes from ESPN's Pat Forde.
In a recent article penned by the popular college football columnist, he has predicted that Alabama will produce an upset this year in one of two games: the season opener or season finale.
If his predictions are correct, the Tigers of either Clemson or Auburn will fall victim to the Tide.
If it's the former, then the Tide will be off and running with high confidence.
If it's the latter, Alabama will end their dreaded losing streak against their cross-state rival.
