Senior quarterback John Parker Wilson finished the afternoon 17-for-30, passing for 309 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Junior wide receiver Mike McCoy hauled in three passes for 119 yards and a touchdown while freshman wide receiver Julio Jones caught two balls for 59 yards and a score.

Saban also spoke highly of redshirt freshman wide receiver Marquis Maze who caught two passes for 74 yards.

Junior running back Glen Coffee, carried the ball 14 times for 42 yards with a touchdown to go along with six receptions for 79 yards.

Freshman Mark Ingram had 11 rushes for 42 yards and a score in addition to three catches for 31 yards. Sophomore Terry Grant finished the day with nine carries for 32 yards, while junior tight end Colin Peek had three receptions for 27 yards.

Sophomore quarterback Greg McElroy threw for 146 yards on 9-of-18 passing with no touchdowns or interceptions.
