The Crimson Tide will need as many healthy bodies as it can get Saturday against Houston, the defending Conference USA champions. The Cougars rank 15th nationally in total offense at 483.5 yards per game and are in the top 25 in rushing offense, passing offense and passing efficiency. Houston’s 33.5 points per game ranks 33rd in scoring average.
Saturday is also Alabama's homecoming, and comes before a three-game stretch of games against Ole Miss, Tennessee and LSU, meaning now is the time for the Crimson Tide to begin to re-route a season that looked so promising two weeks ago.
