Alabama's two-week stint in the nation's top 25 polls ended with Saturday's 21-14 loss to Florida State.
The Seminoles climbed to 26th in the AP poll ahead of the Crimson Tide, which fell from No. 22 to No. 35. Alabama opened the season at No. 32 and rose as high as No. 16 after its 3-0 start.
Nick Saban's Tide fell to No. 40 in this week's USA Today coaches poll.
